St. John's Lutheran Church of Morgan is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America serving the southern townships of Wisconsin's Oconto County including Abrams, Sobieski, Pulaski, Krakow, Green Valley and Oconto Falls. For 126 years we have "let our light shine," sharing the Gospel and serving everyone who lives near St. John's of Morgan through worship, witness, hospitality, education, service, fellowship and love. Altar renovation complete We recently finished renovating the chancel area around the altar. The old paneled storage rooms were removed and the entire front of the church was be opened up. Two skirt walls were installed and two back-lit stained glass windows were installed in the wall. The carpet was removed and the floor is now tiled to match the rest of the church. Thanks to the family of Arnita Jahnke for providing major funding for this project as a memorial in her name. Thanks to everyone for your support throughout the entire building and renovation process!!
